This is the long exposure picture of the jetty on Nissaki Beach in Corfu. Not the most elegant of structure but the timing of the image capture, composition and the technical correctness of the long exposure combine nicely.
I would like to mention three pieces of equipment that were essential to this image capture.
FIrstly, my Canon 6D. The only camera I ever use (ok I use my IPhone but you know what I mean!).
Second, the only filter I use, the Lee Big Stopper 10 stop neutral density filter.
And finally, the thing I place my camera on when I want a low viewpoint, the Platypod Pro.
I have lots of gear. But most of it I dont use. These three bits of kit I use regularly. The Canon 6D is my camera. Obviously.
The Lee Big Stopper allows me to shoot long exposures in broad daylight.
And the Platypod Pro gets my camera down low, be it on a beach shooting a jetty, or on the ground in a construction site photographing a door.
